Two complementary fields (grass and sand), a calm and secure environment, easy access, parking, and lighting, everything is in place to welcome your participants in the best conditions. Thanks to our partnership with family-run guest houses nearby, you can also offer a simple and convenient accommodation solution for people coming from afar. Carrière Lou Cabanoun offers a fully flexible space for hosting your competition or canine event, whatever the discipline.
You have access to two fields:
– a 25 x 40 metre sand arena with lighting; the agility equipment can be removed to host other activities,
– a 50 x 50 metre grass field, flat, fenced, and perfectly suited for competitions of any size.
Info point
You are free to set up marquees, sound systems, signage, waiting areas, catering spaces, reception, etc. Electricity is available right next to the fields. The parking area can hold about 150 vehicles, including vans and trailers. The access is wide and suitable for smooth logistics.
It’s possible to arrive the day before to prepare and stay afterwards for takedown, we’ll arrange this together when preparing your quote.
We love our neighbours
There are no strict noise or time constraints, but we care about maintaining good relations with the neighbourhood:
please set up the noisiest dogs away from the fields (use the lower parking area if needed), keep car doors closed, and reduce noise levels in the evening.
You handle your registrations and organisation freely ; we remain available for discreet support if needed. And of course, we can promote your event on our social media if you wish.

For participants travelling from afar, or for you and your judges, we can recommend partner guest houses located very close to Carrière Lou Cabanoun. These are family-friendly accommodations, comfortable and suitable for stays with dogs, the ideal solution for hosting your teams or competitors for several days in a calm and friendly setting.

Who can organise an event here?
Absolutely anyone: clubs, professionals, collectives, associations, or individual enthusiasts.
As long as the project is serious, we’ll review it with you.
Can we organise an event that isn’t a competition?
Yes! We welcome all kinds of canine events:
workshops, seminars, introductions, discipline trials, demonstrations, club days, family days, and even more “festival-style” formats.
What disciplines are possible?
The venue can host:
agility, frisbee, hoopers, dog dancing, obedience, nosework, scent work, treibball, and more.
If you have a specific idea, let’s discuss it.
Can we use both fields?
Yes, you can rent the sand arena, the grass field, or both.
For example: a competition on one, and a workshop or activity on the other.
Parking for around 150 vehicles is available.
Is there electricity/water?
Yes, the space is equipped with drinking water, electrical hookups, some shaded areas, and parking for cars and campervans.
Can we have a food truck / partner stand / music?
Yes, within reason. Just let us know in advance so we can confirm feasibility together.
Do you offer help with organisation?
We don’t provide “turnkey” event organisation, but we support you with technical logistics : access, schedules, space setup, field management, etc.
Who is responsible in case of an incident during an event?
The organiser remains fully responsible for the event they host.
They must be covered by appropriate third-party liability insurance (RC) for the activity organised.
⚠️ Carrière Lou Cabanoun declines all responsibility in case of injury, equipment damage, or incidents, except in proven cases of infrastructure failure.
What if it rains or is windy on the event day?
The sand field is drained and usable even in the rain, and the grass field holds up well under normal weather conditions.
However, if the wind exceeds 80 km/h, some installations may become dangerous (tents, obstacles, etc.).
In that case, we’ll assess the situation together, and rescheduling or cancellation is possible depending on conditions.
