A passion turned into a project. A project turned into a place of reference !

My name is Alisée Josuan. I’ve always lived with dogs.
At 5 years old, I was already running my first agility courses with the family dog at a small local club.
I continued until I was about 14 or 15, took a break, then made a big comeback at 19 with my border collie. And that’s when I wanted to do things right. Really right.

A field born from personal standards

I wanted a training space that combined freedom, comfort and performance.
So I started training in a field on my parents’ zucchini farm in Mouriès…
Then I dreamed bigger : a sand arena, levelled, irrigated, and lit.
With my own hands, some tractors, professional help, satellite plans, and a lot of determination, the arena was born.

What did I do before? Always something hands-on.

I have a STAV high school diploma and a BTS in agricultural production, with internships across the entire sector: with seed suppliers, seed breeders, companies that release beneficial insects in greenhouses…
Then I worked in the zucchini production circuit — on the production side, resale, distribution, even all the way to the Rungis market.
It taught me about the field, plants, timing, logistics skills I’ve now reinvested here, in my own way.

Today

Carrière Lou Cabanoun means two fields high-end equipment a simple but structured atmosphere.
People come here to train to improve to organise in a space that respects both the dogs and the people who run with them.

Why “Lou Cabanoun”?

It’s a nod to my great-grandfather. He used to call this land “Lou Cabanoun” the little cabin, in Provençal.
It’s where we build where we train where we return.
It’s the home of work done right.

What shaped me on the field and beyond

Agricultural studies hands-on work managing a demanding venue

I didn’t learn my trade in a classroom but in the fields the greenhouses the trucks and the real challenges of daily work.
My journey is that of someone who observes experiments and builds with high standards.

Formations

STAV Baccalaureate – Agronomy and Life Sciences and Technologie
A solid agricultural foundation combining theory, hands-on fieldwork, and observation of living systems.
BTS in Horticultural Production
Two years of specialised training focused on plant production, technical management, and farm operations.
Internships across a variety of agricultural sectors :
Seed companies, grain suppliers, biological control releases in greenhouses, specialised markets, the Rungis wholesale market… An immersion in the entire chain, from cultivation to distribution.
Operations Manager in the family farm
Logistics management, client relations, negotiations with Rungis wholesalers.
A high-responsibility role with an intense pace that taught me discipline.
Management and development of Carrière Lou Cabanoun (today)
Technical design of the fields maintenance client relations event planning communication coordination with professionals.
It’s not just a field : it’s a real structure that requires daily management.
Agility competitor in France and abroad
I don’t offer an agility field by chance : I live it I train on it I understand it from the inside.

Seeking inspiration on European fields

Every year, I travel abroad for competitions (Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia…)
Each trip is an opportunity to discover new fields compare training conditions explore facilities and organisation choices.

Grass sand synthetic surfaces indoor or outdoor arenas powerful or natural lighting irrigation systems field dimensions spectator stands course design obstacle quality live-stream setups atmosphere logistics judge management… Everything is a source of inspiration.

Every detail matters, and my goal is clear : to observe learn and keep improving Carrière Lou Cabanoun so it remains a benchmark venue, built for both passionate amateurs and professionals.
